This year because of the drought and some personal problems, my garden had a really hard time. Though it wasn’t a total bust, it wasn’t as lush and pretty as previous years.

The two best events of this year were the fence and planting of the new bed where the Horrible Holly Hedge used to be. I decided on Brugmansia and Gingers.

Thanks to my neighbors, I finally got my fence on the left side of the yard. It turned out exactly as I had imagined it would be. It was constructed into separate panels so it could be taken down in case of a hurricane.
